Meet the New Percy Jackson

Rick Riordan's books were previously made into films in 2010 and 2013, which is why the show is based on them. The show wipes the slate clean and restarts the story when a boy learns he is the son of a God. He is accused by his uncle, Zeus, of stealing his lightning bolt and must go on an epic journey to find it. The show is expected to go on from the first novel in the series.

James Bobin will be directing the pilot from a script by Riordan and Jon Steinberg for the film. Dan Shotz will then showrun with Steinberg.

This is the first part of casting and it is very strong. Scobell stole every scene he was in in The Adam Project. That means he is better than Ryan Reynolds, Mark Ruffalo, and others. He has a natural charisma about him that will serve him well as he becomes a hero and a leader. Read the Disney+ press release about his entry into acting. When Walker Scobell was five years old, he learned that his favorite superhero was not an actual person but an actor playing a role. He wanted to become an actor. He said if he couldn't become a superhero in real life, the next best thing would be to play one.

He has already achieved that dream.
