DoorDash adds cheaper subscription tier for takeaway-hungry students

DashPass for Students is a cheaper subscription plan for DoorDash. It is half the price of its regular subscription and offers the same benefits, including free delivery on eligible orders over a minimum threshold, 5 percent credit back on pickup orders from certain restaurants, and access to other.

All undergraduate and graduate students at accredited colleges and universities in the US will be able to join DoorDash. The website says that subscribers are free to cancel anytime with no fees or penalty.

Customers who have an ever-increasing range of delivery apps to choose from are more likely to subscribe to this type of service. It is possible to subscribe to the service for $9.99 a month, which includes perks like free delivery and ride-sharing. There is a $9.99 monthly subscription offered by GrubHub.
