One of my favorite aspects of American's premium cabin experience is returning.
The espresso-based drinks are served in three cabin first class on the Boeing and A321Ts. It's something I always appreciated because I am a bit obsessed with coffee.
The products needed to make espressos on planes have not been available since the spring of 2021. Many of us were worried that this would be a permanent cut, given how airlines make changes. There is some good news on that front.
The View from the Wing reported that American Airlines has brought back espressos for the A321T. It's great to see this return.
I was surprised to see this brought back, given that American has largely eliminated any soft product differentiation between first class and business class, at least onboard.
I'm excited to see espresso on the Boeing 777-300ER and the A321T aircraft. At a time when the airline wasn't offering much service, these were cut.
This is a minor development, but it's something I'm more excited about than the average person, as good coffee makes a big difference to me. If you find yourself on a flight with espresso, make sure you order it!
Is anyone excited about the return of espresso machines?
