Luka Doncic left the Dallas Mavericks game against the San Antonio Spurs in the third quarter with a left calf strain.

A source told Adrian that there was initial optimism that it was not a significant injury.

After jumping to throw a pass, Doncic grabbed his calf and asked for a timeout. Doncic hobbled to the locker room after a brief discussion with the Mavericks Director of Player Health and Performance.

The All-NBA selection averaged 28.6 points, 9.1 rebound and 8.7 assists this season. He finished with 26 points, 8 rebound, and 9 assists in 29 minutes of Dallas' 130-120 victory over the Spurs.

Doncic would have been suspended for the regular-season finale after being called for his 16th technical foul of the season in Friday's win over Portland. The NBA office reversed the technical foul on Saturday.

As the Mavericks closed out the regular season, they had 18 points and 16 points from two other players.
