Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelenskyy told CBS civilians in his country are defending the right to live.
The ability of a person to live in the modern world is defended. They say we are defending Western values. What are Western values? Do people who live in the United States or Europe dislike children? Do they want their children to go to university or not? Zelenskyy said during an interview with 60 Minutes that they have the same values.
He said that they were defending the right to live. I didn't think this right was so expensive. These are human values. The right was given to me by my parents.
Zelenskyy spoke to CBS about the need for military aid as Ukraine prepares for a new wave of Russian attacks. Zelenskyy predicted intense fighting in the coming days in an interview with the German newspaper.
Zelenskyy said it could be a big war like the world has not seen in hundreds of years.
Zelenskyy will be on 60 Minutes on April 10.
