Following another weekend in the Premier League which demonstrated the size of the rebuild facing the club's next manager, Gary Neville says he has very few words left to say about Manchester United.

If Manchester United's performance levels for the rest of the season are similar to what they showed at Goodison, they won't deserve to finish in the top four.

A toothless attacking display by United against a side that lost 3-2 at the other end of the table left Rangnick frustrated.

The former United full-back believes that Ten Hag may be rethinking about taking over the reins this summer after the abysmal performance at Goodison Park.

Imagine if Ten Hag turns his back on United?

I have very little to say about Manchester United. No comment, no anger. You almost expect it from them, they are a bit of a farce. The players are taking a man down. They are not good.

They have to get to the end of the season quickly. They would have been in the top four if they had played like they did in the last couple of games, but they haven't got the spirit or the fight.

When I look at Manchester City and the other teams, they have players who are humble and understand their position. Why would you think that you didn't have to work hard or be spiritless if there wasn't a single Manchester United player that would get into those two teams? I don't see anything anymore.

According to the Sunday papers, ten Hag wants all of his demands met or he will not come to the club. Imagine if they can't get Ten Hag over the line because of the state the club is in.

Could Van de Beek influence new manager?

There isn't a player who has grown since Manchester United took over. Look at what they did to him. I think you are on the phone to Van de Beek. What is it like there? Is he not saying anything good?

I think Ten Hag wants control, recruitment, structure, and youth. I think he wants to make sure he doesn't get exposed to what other managers have been exposed to.

It may be difficult for the club in the next week or two. I think they will get it over the line, but the reports this morning were that Ten Hag was placing demands on the club that may go above and beyond. When things come out from credible sources, we should usually believe them.

I'm living on the feeling that the club one day will return. The club will rise again but this is getting low, real low.

The old adage is not to believe anything we read in the press but that is false, journalists hear things from somewhere and if there are multiple sources saying the same type of story there is usually something in it.

It all feels like it is all eggs in the Ten Hag basket, since things have gone quiet on the Mauricio Pochettino front. If they can't get him over the line because of his demands, what is the position of Manchester United?

I think Van de Beek will be telling the truth when he speaks to Ten Hag. We know that Ten Hag will be speaking to a man who is over at Ajax. They will be telling people to be careful about going to Manchester United because it can be a graveyard for reputations.

The performances of players on the pitch have nothing to do with him and he looks vulnerable on the touchline due to what is happening around him.

The players liked him, but they turned him over. It is a difficult position for the club to be in.

I feel like most Manchester United fans at this point in time, I don't know where to turn next or what will happen.

I feel like the club will return one day. The club will rise again, but this is getting low. You look forward to that day, because it will come back.

When Manchester United were winning, those fans over my shoulder were in those low moments, when they might not have a team they could be proud of. Maybe it is time for the Manchester United players to take a look at themselves.

I think players want to do well, but what they are showing is not good enough.

I thought a point would be better for City, but at half-time the game could have been out of sight. The response from the Reds in the second half was better than they were in the first half. If we played badly in the first half of a big game at the end of the season, Sir Alex Ferguson would ask if we had fought all season to play like that.

It was almost as if at the half-time break, we had built this team for three or four years and yet you have shown no authority, frozen, or defended poorly.

At the end of the game, I think it was a better point for the Reds because they responded brilliantly.

Had City won the game, they would have won the title today, but I don't think they could have because they have harder remaining games. If both teams win every game until the end of the season, it would be no surprise, but we don't know.

It was very fast. For punch. Some of the football we watched was very good. Their defences were so high. They stay true to their manager's principles. They are streetfighters.

In the second half, we saw the energy, passion, spirit, and fight that we have seen from the Reds. There are no more words for what these two have achieved over the last few years, but City are a brilliant team. In the last few weeks, they are going to go it in the FA Cup, the European League and the English League.

Is it really a truly great sporting rivalry?

Jamie Carragher says there is more respect between Liverpool and Manchester City compared to other great Premier League rivalries.

It is an unbelievable rivalry, with the score being 335 versus 337 points. This has a case to be the greatest rivalry of all time in terms of consistency, quality, and excellence.

I think there is more to rivalries than that. There is a story to be told. The tunnel incident at Highbury, the FA Cup semi-final with Ryan Giggs, and the goal that wins the title were all related to the Sir Alex Ferguson-Arsene Wenger rivalry.

Klopp on Man City game
Jurgen Klopp was happy to agree with Jamie Carragher that the rivalry between Liverpool and Manchester City is the best the Premier League has seen.

There were fights, pizzas, and big moments between the two teams. There was more than just football excellence, so I don't think this rivalry beats that yet. They like each other so much that there were too many hugs. I am only joking, but I am not sure if this will be a documentary in 25 years. It is an excellent rivalry.

The performance levels are high, and I admire what they are doing. When you think about the two best teams in Europe at the moment in time, you want to see both of them in the final.

The Super Sunday panel discuss what trophies Jurgen Klopp and Pep Guardiola still need to win with Liverpool and Manchester City to be defined as the greatest teams.

They are out of this world in different ways. The influence he has had on the game, his style of football, and what he has achieved are all transformational for what he has achieved. For his passion and spirit, and for being a football streetfighter.

I don't think I could play in this City team, I wasn't technically gifted enough, I see more of myself in Klopp. While City are a thing of beauty, you can see characters like Jordan Henderson and James Milner who play forLiverpool with fight and spirit. You can't help but like what you watch when you see them, even though they are the teams I dislike the most.
