Charlotte Hornets forward Gordon Hayward is out indefinitely because of ongoing pain in his left foot.

The Hornets announced on Sunday that they will place a cast on his foot and he will be out for two weeks.

The Charlotte Hornets played a game on April 2 against the Philadelphia 76ers, after the team had lost 22 in a row due to injuries to Gordon Hayward. He played 17 minutes against the 76ers, but will miss his fourth game Sunday.

The Hornets are 10th in the Eastern Conference and have already qualified for the playoffs.

The Charlotte Hornets can climb as high as the 8 seed if they win Sunday.

In 49 games this season, he averaged 15.9 points and 4.6 rebound.
