The baseball game between Louisville and UNC was suspended because of a bomb threat.

A group of police officers approached the athletic director's suite with news of a threat, as North Carolina led Louisville 6-1 in the sixth. The game was stopped between batters after school officials communicated with on-field officials.

The entire stadium emptied after teams cleared the field. There were at least 2,000 fans at the stadium on a nice day.

The spokesman said that it was not known if the game would continue later Sunday.

There was no information on the credibility of the threat or the details of the threat. The University of Louisville police received an email from the Louisville Metropolitan Police department.

The city and county police were at the stadium after the threat. The game was delayed for a short time. The time is 11 pm.
