Francois Lindo and Chasity McGrady-Lindo were friends for a long time.

McGrady-Lindo told Insider that he and Lindo met at the University of Florida.

Lindo knew McGrady-Lindo wanted more.

She said that she would always ignore him because he was in her messages.

She decided to give him a chance. They have been together ever since.

Lindo is a computer engineer and McGrady-Lindo is a stay-at- home mom.

Lindo got engaged in February 2021.

The couple thought they would elope in the Utah desert with their daughter present.

They realized they wanted more of their loved ones at their wedding, but they didn't want to let go of the intimate, desert elopement they had been dreaming of.

Kosi Events and Wild Heart Events are planning a small wedding at The Red Earth Venue in Moab on November 6, 2021. They had a wedding in two months.

Immediately after Lindo proposed, McGrady-Lindo started looking for a wedding dress.

McGrady-Lindo wanted her wedding dress to be bohemian.

She was drawn to a long-sleeve gown from the colony collection.

She wanted to try on the gown, but the closest store was in Chicago. The trunk show came to town at the right time.

She said that they went dress shopping together and that the dress was there.

As soon as she put the dress on, McGrady-Lindo knew it was hers.

McGrady-Lindo told Insider how she felt when she put the gown on for the first time.

The long-sleeve, form-fitting dress had a plunging neckline and was cinched at the waist.

The entire gown was covered in a floral pattern. The train completed the gown.

McGrady-Lindo said she was drawn to the one-of-a-kind neckline.

The neckline that dipped into a low V was already beautiful, but Berta took it to the next level by adding a layer of sheer fabric on the chest.

The illusion neckline captured the vibe McGrady-Lindo hoped her wedding would have.

The back of the dress was just as beautiful as the front.

The back of the gown mirrored the front and then flowed into a statement train.

It had the same look as before.

The bride told Insider that the dress made her feel like a princess.

McGrady-Lindo liked that the dress balanced her sexy look.

The low neckline and cutouts along the side of the gown gave the dress a mature edge.

She said she felt like a sexy princess.

McGrady-Lindo kept the rest of her look simple.

McGrady-Lindo's sister-in-law wore a bracelet and earrings on her own wedding day.

She was supposed to wear Jimmy Choo heels with the ensemble, but she forgot them just a few minutes before she was supposed to say "I do."

McGrady-Lindo told Insider that she almost got upset about the shoes, but decided to focus on the joy of the day.

She said that there would be somehiccups and things might not go as planned, but she felt like it was a mindset.

Tymica Martin was her hairdresser.

Lindo didn't know what McGrady-Lindo's dress looked like, so it was a complete surprise.

One of the highlights of the wedding day was the first look, because it was only the two of them.

She said that they went there with the intent of getting married.

The aisle stood out because of the arches that lined it.

McGrady-Lindo usually does flowers for elopements, not large-scale weddings.

She said that she killed it, but she never did that big of an event.

A big part of the wedding ceremony was played by the couple's daughter.

I had my daughter before this marriage, and we wanted to show the bond between us all and how we have grown as a family.

Lindo walked their daughter down the aisle and the three of them performed a unity ritual.

The Lindos still had an intimate wedding even though they didn't elope.

The event was attended by 50 of the couple's closest friends and family members. Mack Films documented the event.

They did not have a bridal party, preferring to keep the day simple.

There was a big party at the reception.

McGrady-Lindo said that the wedding day was magical.

She said that the scenery made the event even more special for everyone there.

McGrady-Lindo says brides should do their research before shopping for a wedding dress.

She told Insider that you should take your time with it and know your vision before walking into a shop.

She said that when she walked in, she was overwhelmed. I spent a lot of time researching what I really wanted before I went shopping.

McGrady-Lindo said that he had a clue of the direction he wanted to go.

McGrady-Lindo said she liked her relationship with Lindo.

She said that it was not over the top when we disagreed.

My family and my friends love him. You are so blessed, they always like that. She said that she felt that way because he was so great.

She said that she loved the way her husband treated her.
