Trump said a GOP Congress would 'end the woke war on women and children' and railed against transgender athletes

During a rally in North Carolina on Saturday, Donald Trump said a Republican-led Congress would end the war on women and children.

The Republican Congress needs to stand up for parental rights. I think that is a good idea. Trump said that no teacher should be allowed to teach gender theories to children. It is plain and simple.

Last week, the Biden administration sent Congress a budget filled with billions and billions of dollars of transphobia and so-called equity provisions that are nothing more than government sponsored racism. The Republican Congress will end the woke war on women and children, stop illegal government discrimination, and restore the American principle of equality under the law.

Biden last week announced a $5.8 trillion budget proposal that includes $10 million to improve the visibility of trans people in Census Bureau surveys.

If the GOP won a majority in Congress, Trump said they would reform the mail-in voting system and demand justice for the January 6 prisoners.

Trump said that allowing trans athletes like the record-breaking University of Pennsylvania swimmer Lia Thomas to compete would ruin women's sports.

Ted Budd is running for the North Carolina Senate seat being left by Richard Burr, and Trump expressed his support at the rally.
