Do you want to learn American Sign Language? There is a lens for that.

A new lens that teaches American Sign Language was released on Tuesday by Snapchat and SignAll. You can learn how to fingerspell your own name, practice the American Sign Language alphabet, and play games to test your skills, all using hand- tracking technology. You can try the new lens, which was led by members of the Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing team.

In a world where linguistic inequity is prevalent, we believe that augmented reality can help evolve the way we communicate.

During the International Week of the Deaf in September, SignAll and Snapchat released stickers and augmented reality glasses that taught fingerspelling.

We are constantly working to expand the ways in which we can express ourselves and make connections through our Camera.
