The movies love to bring in new dinosaurs to scare civilians and potentially eat lead characters Owen and Claire. The Mosasaur and iRex were created from the genes of other dinosaurs and were used to appeal to parkgoers. The iRex and raptor DNA from Owen's raptor BFF, Blue, were fused in Fallen Kingdom. Another new reptile is coming and looking to snack on poor souls in its way for the upcoming movie, "Jurassic World"
Empire Magazine gave a new look at the film's new baddie, the Giganotosaurus, for its cover story. The Giga is a regular dinosaur that existed in real life and is roaming around the world after the end of Fallen Kingdom. The director says that the Giga is meant to feel like the Dark Knight. He used a quote from the Clown Prince, "It just wants to watch the world burn."
The place of residence of the Giga should be fun for fans of the films. The BioSyn Valley is named after the tech company who were rivals to InGen and paid Dennis Nedry to steal John Hammond's dinosaur embryos. The governments around the world captured the dinosaurs that were rampaging around their territories, and BioSyn got the contract to house them all. They are stupid enough to mess with the captured dinos and play god.
The big question about the Giga is how Blue the Raptor is going to bring it down. Blue and the T.Rex killed the iRex with a last minute finish by the Mosasaur, and Kingdom saw Blue take down the Indo by herself. It seems unlikely that they would break from third act tradition now. Will this be the last big dino she faces, or will she bring down the Giga? We will have to wait until June 10 to find out.
