The unknown travel author shared with his 17 followers that he has no idea who Richard Kerr is or what Bilt is. After reading negative comments on a competitor's website, the blogger realized he can't get that time back.

Kyle Swindell was sitting in the gate area of the San Diego Airport scrolling through social media when he came across a piece about how dare Bilt try to make money.

He clicked into the piece and immediately spent the next 2 hours in a cesspool of negative comments about a new credit card program for people who are not smart enough to live in places that have cheaper rent.

He learned a new name after following the made-for-TV twists and turns of theBilt saga.

Kerr is a nice guy with a good reputation and a friendly smile. According to the hit job, Kerr once had sex with Satan and voted for Marjorie Taylor even though he doesn't live in her district.

The company that dared to build a creatively average product was raked over the coals by many people.

Those who wrote positive coverage about the Bilt card and failed to disclose their relationship with the company hired a skywriter and an army of sign-turners to let their readers know. It would seem that this mistake may not be forgiven.

It's not fair that other companies try to invent new products, or make money, and that's what the angry part of the community thinks. Unless they make money on their blogs. Because of self-righteousness.

Swindell, who almost missed his boarding call because he was so engrossed in the spite salad, decided that Kerr probably is a good dude and that Bilt could have handled their sponsorships a little better. Also, chill out.

Only 2 of Swindell's followers read his post.

The Takeoff Nap

We know who Richard is, but we don't actually know him. The Bilt drama overtook a small corner of the interwebs this week, but we don't really care. We took a break from the computer for about 10 minutes. All of this was moderately funny to a point. Personal attacks on Kerr are not acceptable. Or anyone for that matter. We wouldn't know if Kerr is a good dude. Many people revealed that they are not good people as they rode the hate train past a few stops. Noted.
