A new neighbor in town is 1,428 feet tall.

New York City's newest skyscraper is the world's skinniest and the second tallest in the Western Hemisphere with a height-to-width ratio of 24:1. The final pieces of exterior construction were put on the building, according to a report in the design magazine.

According to the architecture site, the new super tall building is located on West 57th Street in NYC and accommodates one residence per floor. A recent New York Times article said that the prices for housing will be high, with 150 condominiums starting at about $875,000 for studios to $8 million for four-bedroom apartments. The prices of condominiums are not public.

The price of admission to the observation deck is what building developer Michael Stern told the Times.

Dizzying Heights

It looks like living all the way at the top is scary. It's pretty windy up there.

There is a rumor that the building could be the world's largest NFT museum. It's a good idea to build a building in Billionaire's Row, which is known for having tall, skinny residential buildings.

Many of the super expensive buildings are empty because the rich, fancy owners don't have time to stop by and check out the condos.

Some NFT creators are making enough to move into the neighborhood. If not, those skinny new condos will go to the highest bidder at a time when food shortages and inflation are making people tighten their belts.
