Dwayne Haskins, 24, dies after getting hit by car

The quarterback for the Pittsburgh Steeler died Saturday morning in South Florida after being hit by a car. The former Ohio State star was drafted by the Washington Commanders in the first round of the NFL draft.

Several offensive players for the PittsburghSteelers were in the Miami area this weekend to train for the upcoming season. The message was passed along from the agent to the person who sent it.

Death was in horrible taste and was stated in a now- deleted original statement about Dwayne Haskins, a star at Ohio State who struggled to catch on with Washington and Pittsburgh in the NFL. It was taken down after 15 minutes and replaced without mentioning his pro struggles.

The reaction from the community was immediate. The quarterback trainer said that he was going to train with him. Miami Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill said he was lost for words.
