NFL's Dwayne Haskins Dead At 24 After Being Hit By Car

The quarterback for the Pittsburgh Steelers died after being hit by a car. He was 24 years old.

He was a star at Ohio State, leading the Buckeyes to a Big Ten championship and Rose Bowl victory.

He was the 15th overall pick in the draft and spent two seasons with Washington. He joined the Pittsburgh Steelers in 2021.

Several players posted video of a workout session with Pittsburgh teammates, including Najee Harris, Chase Claypool and Mitchell Trubisky.

The couple got married several months later after Haskins proposed.

I am devastated and at a loss for words with the unfortunate passing of a dear friend. He became a part of the family when he arrived in Pittsburgh and was one of the hardest workers.

Dwayne was a great teammate, but also a great friend to many. I am devastated.

Our thoughts and prayers are with his wife, Kalabrya, and his entire family.

"Tough to find the words to say goodbye to you", said Joe Burrow, a Buckeye teammate.

Ron Rivera, who was a coach in Washington, said that he was sad to hear of the death of the young man.

This is a sad time and I am at a loss for words. He will be missed by the rest of the team. Our entire team is sending their deepest sympathies to the Haskins family.
