Inciting an insurrection against the US government is criminal activity, and the City of New York will no longer have anything to do with the Trump Organization.
According to court documents, the city said that Trump's actions "incited" the attack when they ended the contract with the Trump Organization. The Capitol riot was inciting by Trump. The Trump Organization sued the city of New York in June of 2021.
The Trump Organization was not required to host major tournaments like the PGA at the course because the Manhattan Supreme Court ruled in favor of the company. She said the city's claim lacks any legal foundation.
The Trump Organization did not reply immediately.
In a statement to The New York Times, a spokeswoman for the Trump Organization said that the city's attempts to end the long-term license agreement to operate Trump Golf Links at Ferry Point Park were nothing.
This is more than just a win for the Trump Organization, it is a win for justice, for the people of the City of New York, and for the hundreds of hard-working employees at Ferry Point.
