Florida congressman Matt Gaetz defended his colleague after talk show host Jimmy Kimmel joked about getting actor Will Smith to slap her.

Gaetz said that if the joke had been made by a conservative comedian, it would have been funnier.

Gaetz said that Jimmy Kimmel would make quick work of you because Marjorie Taylor Greene would make quick work of you.

On Wednesday, she said that she had filed a report with the Capitol police against the comedian, calling his statements a threat of violence.
