Manning is visiting the University of Virginia as his recruitment process ramps up.
Manning is on campus on Friday despite the fact that the Virginia has not been considered a serious contender in his recruitment. Arch could visit Virginia because his older sister is there, according to his father.
The four favorites are Alabama, Texas, Ole Miss and Georgia.
Manning told reporters in October that he would have a good idea around next summer or next spring.
Arch Manning is considered one of the best quarterbacks in the class of 2023 and is the nephew of two of the best quarterbacks of all time. He has shown the arm talent of his ancestors while also having the talent of his father, who was a promising wide receiver before injuries ended his football career.
Every major program in the country has been enamored with Manning's talent for years.
Virginia is off the beaten path of college football success. The only time the program has won 10 games in a season was 1989.
There isn't much reason to believe the Virginia basketball team will be ready to compete for a national title when Manning arrives. Since his sister is attending the school, this feels like a courtesy visit.
