Selena Gomez, her mother and producer, and Newsette co-founder Daniella Pierson have launched an online platform to help people care for their mental health.

Wondermind was announced in November and launched this week, with the co-founders calling the first phase Drop #1. Physical mental fitness tools will come in the future.

The first Wondermind newsletters have featured explanations of jargon related to mental health likecatastrophizing and interviews with health experts. The co-founders of the platform wrote about their ambitions in the introductory email.

Wondermind is where you will build your mental fitness routine through exclusive, honest conversations with people you have definitely heard of, and advice from experts.

The platform leans on the phrase "mental fitness" which a few other mental health-focused apps have done in recent years.

Gomez has entered the mental health space before. Gomez has pledged to raise $100 million over the next decade to provide people with access to the resources required to support their mental health.

Gomez and her co-founders are trying to go deeper into this sphere with Wondermind.

Gomez spoke about her mental health in an interview with Wondermind co- founder Daniella Pierson.

I know people can overthink, and I am one of those people who raises my hand when I do. Sometimes taking a step back and looking at it from a different perspective and wondering where I am. Is I happy? Is it true that I am fine when people ask me?

When there are moments that make me feel safe, heard, and loved, I feel more comfortable to take action. She said that she was nowhere near perfect, but she was really happy.
