At the opening party for the company's Texas factory, Musk announced that the Cybertruck will be sold next year. The Cybertruck vehicle that Musk showed off during his presentation has no handles and still looks like the previous versions. The car will know that you are there and will open the doors for you. He apologized for the delay in releasing the Cybertruck. The original target release date was 2021, but it was delayed to 2022, and now to 2023.

The Cybertruck will be manufactured at the Texas Gigafactory, which is expected to become the highest volume car factory in America. Musk talked about the other planned Gigactories around the world and how manufacturing vehicles near where they are going to be shipped is much more eco-friendly. Musk said during the presentation that this year is all about scaling up production and next year is all about releasing a wave of new products.

The company plans to release a number of products next year, including the Cybertruck and the Semi EV. The launch of the electric big rig that is supposed to haul cargo across long distances was pushed back a few times. Musk said that his robot will be designed to accomplish any task humans don't want to do. A future product that we can look forward to is a dedicated robotaxi that will look very futuristic. The Full Self-driving Technology will be available in a wide range of configurations in North America this year.
