After the release of the new version of the software on March 31, Apple stopped signing the previously available version of the software. It is not possible to upgrade to the newer version of the software once you have installed it.

It is not unusual for Apple to stop signing older versions of software after a new release, so that customers can keep their operating systems up to date.

Universal Control on the iPad, support for unlocking an iPhone while wearing a mask, and new emoji characters were some of the new features in the major update.

The AppleAVD issue that could allow an application to execute arbitrary code was addressed in the latest version of the operating system. If you haven't done so already, it's a good idea to update to iOS 15.4.1 because Apple said this exploit may have been actively exploited.

tvOS and HomePod have been stopped by Apple.
