New York attorney general Tish James wants a court to fine Donald Trump $10,000 per day because he hasn't turned over evidence that a judge ordered him to.

The news was reported by The Daily Beast.

In February, the New York state Supreme Court ordered Trump and his children to comply with subpoenas for depositions in a civil investigation.

According to The Daily Beast, Engoron ordered Trump to submit to a December subpoena for documents and communications related to the finances for a Trump hotel in Chicago, development for the Seven Springs Estate in New York, and Trump's claims of personal wealth.

The evidence was supposed to be turned over at the end of March, but investigators haven't received anything yet.
