A video from former president Donald Trump's most recent rally in Michigan went viral over the past few days. The clip, which has more than 2.5 million views, features a woman in American flag gear talking about how the 2020 presidential election was stolen from Trump. It was not.
The Trump supporter said that he believed the election was stolen. Trump has all the information.
The interviewer with the Right Side Broadcasting Network was surprised by her details about the U.S. Space Force.

The night of the election, the Space Force literally watched the election be stolen, she explained, before going into a slew of other election conspiracy theories that end with the U.S. Space Force reversing the election results.
If we look back at the recent history of QAnon, we can see that its followers are still breathing new life into some old conspiracy theories. The Big Lie about a stolen election is still being spread by Trump, who has intimated that he will be running for president again in 2024.
There is a right-wing conspiracy theory that claims Trump is working to take down a global satanic group of cannibalistic child sex traffickers who are also his political enemies. Many people have heard about the real ballots being secretly watermarked, but they were not a part of the conspiracy theories. The military will eventually take over, institute martial law, and stage tribunals of Trump's enemies on live TV according to those same believers.
But the Space Force? If that seems to be coming out of left field, you are probably unaware that the Space Force has a large fan base on the right thanks to Trump turning the military's space program into an independent branch of the armed services in 2019. After the presidential election in November 2020, this particular conspiracy has been floating.
The sources of some of the more specific, niche QAnon beliefs like this one are hard to trace from our vantage point. Many videos that were published on YouTube have since been taken down as the platform cracked down on videos that target an individual or group with conspiracy theories that have been used to justify real-world violence. The now-infamous Qanon Shaman was at a right-wing protest in Arizona in November of 2020 and ranted about the Space Force.

The Space Force theory started to spread in January of 2021. The Space Force was designated as a member of the U.S. intelligence community after the January 6 storming of the Capitol building. The move created a perfect storm for conspiracy theories.
A man by the name of Ezra Cohen -Watnick was a senior Trump intelligence official. Cohen-Watnick was thought to be a high-ranking official within the Trump administration. While Cohen-Watnick denied the claims, the belief was that the two entities were working together to overturn the election.
The U.S. Space Command headquarters was moved a week later by Trump.
Conspiracy theorists took this as further evidence that Trump was going to have the Space Force play a part in reversing the election of Biden before his inauguration on January 20. The Space Force is unrelated to the U.S. Space Command. In an August 2021 interview, Trump admitted that he made a political decision to move the U.S. Space Command. In that same interview, Trump confused the U.S. Space Command with the Space Force.

For more than a year, Trump supporters have shared conspiracy theories that the Space Force used satellites to monitor the 2020 election and capture proof of election fraud in real-time.
Videos about the Space Force and the 2020 election have amassed hundreds of thousands of views on the conservative video platform. Posts about the Space Force and election fraud have received tens of thousands of views.
It has been more than a year since Joe Biden was inaugurated as president. The election fraud claims have been proven to be false. There is no proof that the 2020 election was stolen. It seems that the election fraud conspiracy about the Space Force may go on forever.
