According to a report from The New York Times, video posted on Telegram appears to show Ukrainian soldiers killing captured Russian troops.

The video was verified by The Times, but they decided not to publish it due to its graphic nature. It shows a Ukrainian soldier shooting a Russian soldier three times while another man says he is still alive. The marauders are being filmed. He is still alive. He is gasping.

The video shows at least three other Russian soldiers dead near the victim, which is identified by white armbands worn by Russian troops. According to a report from The Times, one of the soldiers has a head wound and his hands are tied behind his back.

The soldiers are surrounded by equipment and are laying on the road near a BMD-2 infantry vehicle used by Russia's airborne units.

In the video, which was not independently verified by Insider, Ukrainian soldiers are identifiable by their blue armbands, but their unit is unclear. According to The Times report, a Ukrainian news agency said the ambush was the work of the Georgian Legion, a group of Georgian volunteers.

The video was filmed in the north of the village of Dmytrivka. At least 300 civilians were killed in the city during Russia's occupation. Russian troops were retreating when Ukrainian officials say they were attacked.

According to the Times report, Ukrainian forces attacked Russian troops on March 30. It was "precise work" by Ukrainian troops, according to the Defense Ministry.
