The story of Sarah Manning and her family tree of sister clones was brought to a close in the original Orphan Black series, but AMC is planning to return to their world with an all-new live-action series.

Anna Fishko, the supervising producer of Fear The Walking Dead, has been tapped by AMC Networks to write and showrun a new series called "Orphan Black: Echoes." The new show, which is set to be executive produced and directed by John Fawcett, will follow the lives of a new group of women who gradually begin to realize how deeply connected their origins are despite the fact that none of them know one another. It's not clear whether Maslany will return to reprise her roles in the Clone Club or other Leda clones that were still alive in the world by the series finale. AMC expects the series to premiere sometime in 2023, but it doesn't have a firm release date.
