Earthquake is a comedian and he weighed in on the scandal at the Oscars involving Will Smith and Chris Rock. Smith made a joke about Jada Pinkett Smith's battle with alopecia and things got physical. Hair loss is a result of this disease.

During an interview on The Breakfast Club, the veteran comedian, whose real name is Nathaniel Martin Stroman, had some stark criticism for the show.

I feel sorry for Will because he is being beaten and abused by Jada. When a man loves a woman who doesn't love him, and he tries to win her love, that's what happens.

Earthquake admitted that he had been there before. You have to make a decision. You can either accept it for the love she is giving or leave it alone, but you will never win her over. I feel for him because her actions that night showed it.

The funnyman said that the actress still had a duty even if Rock disrespected her. He said a woman that loves you would stop you. Will doesn't use profanity on the live broadcast. He knows the rules.

Earthquake said that Pinkett Smith had a few chances to diffuse the situation but chose against it. He noted that she hasn't yet defended her man, although she did release a statement about healing.

She didn't try and stop him, on two occasions, and she hasn't released the statement to say that. It isn't indicative of who he is. He got over three decades of good work towards the people he never had, but he lost his cool.

She should protect her man. He was protecting her. A woman would come out and vouch for you. It's a natural reaction for a woman who sees a significance of what he did and what it will cost him if he was doing it for you.

At some point the actress needs to stop being politically correct and circle the wagons and say this is what I care about, he is not like that. Please don't let this night define who he is as a person because he lost it that day.
