This article is not easy to read with Bridgerton Season 2 information.

If Bridgerton Season 2 taught us anything, it is that there is absolutely no limit to how much sexual tension can be crammed into a game of pall-mall.

It is time to revisit the best of Anthony Bridgerton's eight-episode soundtrack.

Will Anthony and Kate kiss after she was stung by that bee? They almost kissed while she was about to shoot the deer. You will have to read on to find out.

6. After the failed wedding (episode 6)

You should not be here.

Kate's guilt was interrupted by.

This is the last time Anthony and Kate kissed, and the worst one on the list. Why? It barely qualifies as a kiss. There is some tense hand-holding and eye contact, and yes, it gets some points for the sheer level of scandal involved (they are in a cupboard in the Queen's own house shortly after Anthony was supposed to have married Kate).

5. The library (episode 4)

I have always found them unnerving.

Interrupted by: thunder.

Anthony and Kate were rudely interrupted by a loud clap of thunder when they met in the library. This one has a lot of tension, but loses points for the fact that they don't really get that close to kissing.

4. The hunt (episode 4)

The key dialogue is "Just hold it... exhales like this."

The rest of the hunting party was interrupted.

This one gets points for its double entendres, but loses points because it is more of an ear-whisper.

3. The library, round two (episode 4)

I am a gentleman.

Interrupted by Anthony's sister.

Anthony spits out the words "You hate me" to which Kate responds "Yes". I do. I hate you, but mostly due to the very dramatic interruption from Anthony's sister, which marks the first time Anthony and Kate's shocking secret has been discovered.

2. After dinner with the Sheffields (episode 5)

The bane of my existence is you, and the object of all my desires.

Interrupted by Anthony's guilt.

You have to give the actors some credit. By this point they are on near-kiss number five, and they are clearly plumbing the depths of how close two people can get to kissing without actually touching lips. The dialogue includes gems such as "My father raised me to act with honour, but that honour is hanging by a thread," and "Do you think there is a better way?"

1. The bee sting

It was just deep breath and a bee.

Interrupted by a horse.

Did you not think bee sting could be sexy? Think again! The first domino that sets off all the rest in the season was the scene that first made Anthony and Kate tense up, and it was the reason why it had to be number one on this list. A bee triggering traumatic memories and setting off a love triangle between a Lord and two sisters. Peak Bridgerton.
