Josh Allen will be working with his favorite weapon for years to come, as the Bills have reached agreement with wide receiver Stefon Diggs on a four-year, $104 million extension that includes $70 million guaranteed.

With two years remaining on his existing deal, Diggs' contract now runs through 2027 at a total value of $124.1 million. He would like to retire in Buffalo.

This agreement follows a wave of top wide receiver deals this winter, making it inevitable that the Bills would sign Diggs to an extension. New Miami Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill received $72.2 million guaranteed, while Las Vegas Raiders wide receiver Davante Adams received $65 million guaranteed.

Allen signed a contract extension with the Bills last year.

In March 2020 the Bills traded four draft picks, including a first-rounder, to the Vikings in exchange for the acquisition of wide receiver/returner/ kick returner/ kick returner/ kick returner/ kick returner/ kick returner/ kick returner/ kick returner Since that trade, he has put together two of the best seasons of his career, including his first two Pro Bowl appearances.

In his two years with the Bills, he has caught 230 passes for 2,760 yards and 18 touchdown. His 2020 season included career and league highs with 127 catches, 1,535 receiving yards and eight touchdown catches.

He had a career-high 10 touchdown catches in the first 17-game season of the NFL. Since joining the Bills, he has not missed a game.

Brandon Beane, the general manager, recently said that he wanted to give all players their respect and a fair pay. I think of the world of Stef. I think what he has done has been great. He has been great for Josh. He has been great for our offense and his leadership has stepped up, and we want to see him in Buffalo for a long time.

The move is expected to create more money for the Bills. The team had less than $1 million in cap space.
