Allen was knocked to the floor after driving to the basket in the fourth quarter of Tuesday's 127-106 victory after a hard foul from Bulls.

After a replay review, a dead ball technical foul was given to Vucevic for contact on Allen after he was free from Lopez.

After the game, he maintained that he did not intend to foul Allen, who has been the subject of ire for Chicago fans ever since he fractured his wrist in January.

After the game, Vucevic said that his intention was not to foul or hurt him. The replay is not that bad. I don't understand why I got a tech for it.

Knowing the history between the two teams, Vucevic spoke to Allen and a few other players on the floor after the play to clear up his intentions.

Allen said he didn't make anything of it. I had the ball in my left hand, so I think he was going to make a play on it.

The last time these two teams played in Chicago, Allen was hit in the face with his elbow while trying to defend Jones from driving to the basket. Although Jones said he was simply trying to get a stop, he received a foul.

On Tuesday, Budenholzer said he believed that Vucevic should have received a foul.

Budenholzer said it crossed the line. They looked at it 4-5 times. He did not think there was a windup. He didn't think it met the criteria.

Bulls fans booed Allen every time he touched the ball Tuesday, the same way they booed the last time the Bucks were in town. The crowd erupted in celebration when Allen was sent to the floor.

The Bulls secured their first playoff spot in two years on Tuesday, thanks to a Cleveland Cavaliers loss, while the Milwaukee Bucks secured the same record as the Boston Celtics and Philadelphia 76ers. If the Bulls hold onto their 6 seed, they would meet in the first round of the playoffs as the third seed in the East.
