Are you sick of toll booths? You can count on the back of the maps from Google.

There are a few new features that could make a difference for people who use Maps for their commute. In the U.S., Japan, India, and Indonesia, tollbooth tracking will be available this month. When you want to go somewhere, toll roads will be flagged and you will get an estimate of how much it will cost. If you prefer not to use toll roads, you can go into the app settings and tell Google Maps to never suggest them again.

There are traffic lights and stop signs in the app. The feature will roll out to select countries in the coming weeks, but it wasn't clear if it would be specific.

There are a couple of small bonuses for users of the app in the coming weeks, but toll roads and traffic lights are coming to both platforms. Not revolutionary, but useful.

It will be nice to be able to avoid toll roads. Gas can be cheaper with the help of Google Maps.
