Twitter will appoint Elon Musk to its board of directors

According to a filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission, Musk will be joining the board of directors. Musk will be a class II director. This position can be used as an anti-takeover measure.

The Company will appoint Mr. Musk to the Board of Directors with a term that expires in 2024.

Musk's new role on the board was confirmed by Parag Agrawal. He called Musk both a passionate believer and intense critic of the service and said he would bring great value to the Board.

Despite his complaints about free speech on the platform, Musk purchased a 9.2 percent stake in the company.

Musk is the company's largest shareholder. On the same day that Musk bought into the social network, he asked his followers if they wanted to create an edit button. The consequences of the poll will be important.
