The New York to London route was launched in August of 2021. The airline is adding new routes out of Boston. The airline will be adding service to both London airports. The London Gatwick flight will operate daily with a variable schedule. On August 22, 2022, there will be a new daily flight between Boston and London. The schedule for the flight is as follows: B61620 Boston to London arrives at 6:30AM. B61621 London to Boston arrives at 11:03AM.JetBlue’s Boston to London route launches July 2022
The 3,265-mile flight will be operated by an A321LR. The flight is on the schedule year-round.
The cost of acquiring slots for London Heathrow made it difficult for JetBlue to secure them in the past. For the time being the airline has been granted temporary slots to operate this service, so we will see how this progresses over time.
American, British Airways, Delta, United, and Virgin Atlantic all operate on this route.
Most A321s have closer to 200 seats, but JetBlue has specially configured them for this route with a total of only 138 seats.
There are 24 seats in the Mint business class cabin, all with privacy doors, at the front of the plane. The most spacious seats in the first row are called the Mint Studios.
When it comes to inflight dining, JetBlue is in a league of its own among US carriers.
The seats at JetBlue have a minimum of 32 degrees of pitch. There is an excellent entertainment system, free high-speed wi-fi throughout the plane, and a unique dining concept.
I flew from New York to London in the Mint Suite and from London to New York in the Mint Studio in August of 2021.

Boston will be the location of the new trans-Atlantic flights. The airline will fly between Boston and London Heathrow daily in August and July of 2022. Existing service from New York to both airports has been improved. The airline offers an innovative product and it's great to see them add more flights.
I'm curious to see if the airline can establish itself with limited frequencies and no lounges in two very competitive markets.
What do you think about the Boston to London flight?
