The host of Fox News asked the congressman to reveal who did drugs in front of him and invited him to sex parties or admit that he was lying.

My question for the congressman is who? On the most recent episode of his show, Sunday Night in America, Gowdy asked the audience to give him the names.

Tell us who invited you to the cocaine party. Who used drugs in front of you? He asked who broke the laws they passed.

Which of your colleagues believes he or she is above the law? Who is doubling as a deviant at night while talking about family values?

The people he had met in Washington during his eight years there were nothing like what this congressman described, according to the former congressman.

Tim Scott's idea of a wild time was ordering dessert. One time, Kevin McCarthy ordered butter popcorn, if that counts. Joe Kennedy was nicknamed "Milk" because he drank the strongest thing he could get his hands on.

He noted that Cawthorn must have been hanging around with the wrong people in Washington if he had witnessed drug use.

Cawthorn was asked to name the people involved.

Tell us who you saw doing cocaine and who invited you to sexually explicit parties, or admit that you made it up, according to the Fox News host.

Conservative figures rebuked Cawthorn for his comments in March when he claimed that members of Washington's elite had invited him to orgies and did cocaine in front of him. Kevin McCarthy reprimanded Cawthorn, saying he had lost his trust.

GOP figures like Tillis, a senator from Cawthorn's home state, are backing one of his primary challengers. In a statement, Tillis wrote that he would never expose Western North Carolina to a consistent pattern of juvenile behavior, outrageous statements, and untruthfulness.

Cawthorn blamed the left and the media for trying to tarnish his Republican colleagues.
