A mass grave has been spotted from space.
The Church of St. Andrew and Pyervozvannoho All Saints has a mass grave on the grounds. The company representatives said in an email that the grave site has a long trench.
At least 150 people are believed to be buried in a makeshift grave near the Ukrainian capital, according to local residents and the police. CNN said that it could not independently verify either figure, but that the number could be twice that high.

CNN reported that residents said that excavation of the mass grave began after Russia invaded Ukraine. A second photo shows some initial digging work being done in the churchyard.
As Russian forces retreat from northern Ukraine, the scale and scope of the destruction is coming to light.
