Two central tech figures working at Truth Social are saying "bye bye" to Donald Trump's social media endeavor, just over a month after they went live on the Apple App Store.
According to a new report, the chiefs of technology and product development at Truth Social have resigned.
The conservative media project could be affected by their resignations. The two were so important that one source said Adams was the brains behind Truth Social. According to the description, Boozer was having a major leadership role and acting as a manager across multiple teams working on Truth Social. The hiring pool for Truth Social was limited due to it being a politically conservative platform.
The decision by Adams and Boozer to leave the company is yet another blow to the alternative social network. When the alpha version of Truth Social was announced last year, it was quickly discovered by troll who defaced the platform with fake accounts and pig poop balls.

After breaking its licensing agreement, Trump's social media platform was forced to publicly credit Mastodon, the open-source software it was built on.
Most of the people who were able to use the platform weren't able to do it on President's Day. Potential users were met with a waiting list. Potential users have not been granted access to the platform. If you are an established figure in the conservative movement, then Truth Social has a fairly inactive platform.
Users on Truth Social discovered that the social media platform isn't free speech at all. Like the Big Tech platforms, Truth Social has its own rules that result in bans and content being removed. One user reported that the usernames they registered on Truth Social were banned from the platform because of a user with the same name that trolled the CEO of Trump Media. The parent company of Truth Social is Trump Media and Technology Group.
In the last few weeks, the Truth Social app's installs have plummeted from hundreds of thousands of downloads to just 60,000. The app is only available in the App Store. Donald Trump has been MIA on his own social media platform. Prior to the app's launch, Trump made one post.
Adams and Boozer left the company. All these issues could have played a part. Their departure is already having a negative impact on the company as shares in Digital World Acquisition Corp., the shell company that merged with TMTG to trade on the stock market, have dropped by as much as 14 percent on the news.
