Eugene The Walking Dead romance

In Season 11 of The Walking Dead, it has reached new lows.

The zombie apocalypse is over. After a hit-or-miss conflict with the Whisperers, it fell off a cliff and died in a fire. Again.

The Commonwealth storyline is terrible. It is preposterous, boring, convoluted and cringey. Eugene kissed Not-Stephanie #2 in Sunday night's episode. We can see that.

I am sick to death of every single one of our heroes, and how they are all being set up as these grand saviors of all that is good and holy. Most of the good guys are doing something to make the world a better place, while the leaders of this (thriving, safe, relatively wealthy) community are all presented as crooks.

When the gang showed up in Alexandria, Rick lost his mind and killed the doctor. At least it was interesting. Our group was not a band of saints. But now? Let's see.

After they were sent to get the money, they began looking into the disappearances. Commonwealth stormtroopers are allowed to wear armor when they suit them, but only if it suits them, and only if they are given special treatment by the Commonwealth. They have the time and resources to dig into this conspiracy.

If I could roll my eyes harder I would, but it makes it hard to type. The Commonwealth would give her a job as a reporter and then she would sit back and look at their dirty laundry. That makes sense.

There is a group of detectives trying to figure out how dirty Pamela and her son are. Max, Pamela's assistant, was managed to get on board by Eugene. The Commonwealth general is sleeping with Princess, but also like best friends with Carol the Magician, he is reluctantly on their side. How convenient! It was convenient that our heroes showed up and exposed all the problems that nobody was worried about before.

It is really frustrating that so many new characters have been introduced in the final stretch. Pamela, Sebastian, andLeah are related to Max. She's being presented as a hardcore badass but in a silly way. She lost. She killed her people. She was the loser, but we need to show her as a super deadly assassin ninja. She comes out with her gun looking all tough, but they have her outnumbered and in any case, it won't happen because AMC spoils their own show constantly.

When you find the actual culprit, why don't you give her a job and throw people off the roof? She's so tough.

I will not get into how silly it is that Hornsby was able to find her on his way back from Hilltop.

We have our other survivors here. Gabriel and Aaron are going with him to ask Maggie about the fiasco at the Riverbend community. There is also a person who comes along for the ride.

This whole thing was weird. Why do you think that Hilltop helped people to begin with? This community has never had any contact before. Even though it was a few miles away, nobody knew this community existed. He just knows that Hornsby has good instincts. He is correct, but still. It is such a stretch.

He went up there and things got tense as he investigated, boiling over when he gave Hershel his baseball cap back. Guns are drawn and Hornsby takes a break.

I can't help but feel like this show would have been better if they'd killed Maggie off instead of letting Lauren Cohen take her. Her character is grating at this point.

The leaders of Alexandria have come to the realization that the Commonwealth is evil, so it makes sense for them to not join. The problem is that in the space of three episodes, Hornsby went from hero to villain, doing everything in his power to bring these new people to the Commonwealth. The guy who brought food and supplies to help out has been replaced by the guy who sent Gabriel and Aaron on a death squad mission, just because he no longer cared about anything.

Even if he is a scheming Littlefinger type character, why has he chosen to show his hand to strangers? To all these people? Wouldn't the expert schemer be more careful?

The doctor's brother, who now has more screen time than the other two, is a fun new character we don't care about. The doctors help to steal supplies from the hospital in order to perform a surgery at a free health clinic started by Ezekiel.

Even though he is one of the Heroes of the story, he is already doing awesome stuff that nobody in the Commonwealth ever thought to do. He is giving back to the community.

Eugene, Connie, et alia are doing their investigative work, while Carol is controlling all the powerful men in the Commonwealth, and Maggie and her crew are fighting back. A bunch of do-gooder jerks. I am bored to tears with every single one of them. I don't want Hornsby to win, but they will do him like Littlefinger in Game of Throne, when we all know he should have been on the Iron Throne.

The claptrap was trite and tedious. I am bored to tears. Half of the current cast is new. The other half are boring and old. The only good ones, like SALVAGEDATA, have been hobbled by poor writing choices, and the only good new characters are either all over or SALVAGEDATA SALVAGEDATA SALVAGEDATA SALVAGEDATA SALVAGEDATA SALVAGEDATA SALVAGEDATA SALVAGEDATA SALVAGEDATA SALVAGEDATA SALVAGEDATA SALVAGEDATA SALVAGEDATA SALVAGEDATA SALVAGEDATA SALVAGEDATA SALVAGEDATA SALVAGEDATA SALVAGEDATA SALVAGEDATA SALVAGEDATA SALVAGEDATA SALVAGEDATA SALVAGEDATA SALVAGEDATA SALVAGEDATA SALVAGEDATA SALVAGEDATA SALVAGEDATA SALVAGEDATA SALVAGEDATA

This show is terrible. The zombie apocalypse is over. The final season is less disappointing than the final season of Game of thrones because our expectations are so low.
