According to a new report, two executives building Donald Trump's alternative social networking platform have left the company.
Josh Adams, the chief technology officer, and Billy Boozer, the head of product development, resigned less than a year after joining Trump's social media venture. The Truth Social app had a disastrous debut on February 20th, with technical problems and a 13-hour outage.
The service hasn't shown much improvement more than a month after launch. New users are being put on a million-person waiting list to join the app. Trump only posted to the network once.

It's not clear if Truth Social has found replacements for the executives who resigned or if they are working at the company in different roles. The Trump Media and Technology Group did not respond to requests for comment.
The January 6th riots at the US Capitol resulted in Trump being banned from the social network in January 2021. The first thing Trump did was to create a website that looked like a Twitter feed. He was courted by Parler and Gettr to join their companies. Trump declined the offers and joined the parent company of the free speech alternative, Rumble.
Truth became the top-downloaded app on the App Store for social networking. Despite all of the hype around the app from the Trump wing of the Republican Party, the censorship free clone has slipped into the 28th most popular spot. Truth peaked at 170,000 downloads a day, but are now down to around 8,000, according to Apptopia.
Truth social will not be fully operational until the end of March, according to the head of the group. As of the first week of April, no announcements have been made regarding the official launch of the company and the Play Store apps.
