Tracking data shows that a $600 million superyacht owned by Russian billionaire Roman Abramovich set sail on a cruise ship in the Mediterranean on Monday.

The Solaris left the port of Bodrum in southwest Turkey on Monday morning after being there for two weeks.

The destination was last reported by Marine Traffic as a scenic cruise. After rounding a headland on the Turkish coast, Solaris was heading north-eastern.

The European Union banned the billionaire owner of the football club from doing business in the bloc because of his assets being frozen. Western efforts to punish Russia over the invasion of Ukraine led to the sanctions being imposed.

Spain is one of the countries that the Solaris has avoided since being docked in Spain in March.

The Solaris was under repair in Barcelona. The ship set sail from there on March 8, 2022. The EU sanctions were imposed on March 15 and two days after the UK sanctions were imposed on March 12.

After arriving in Tivat, Solaris left and headed towards Turkey. Marine Traffic data shows that the yacht arrived in Bodrum on March 21.

According to SuperYacht Fan, the Solaris can accommodate up to 96 guests and has a price tag of $600 million.

A $50 million yacht was held by the UK and a $75 million vessel was seized by the Gibraltar government.
