More than 3,500 flights have been canceled this weekend due to weather in Florida and other issues.
Major disruptions at several Florida airports, including Miami, Fort Lauderdale and Orlando, as well as Baltimore and other airports around the U.S., were noted by FlightAware.
Southwest, Frontier, and American Airlines were the most affected. There were storms in Florida on Saturday. Several airlines said operations were back to normal.
Demand for spring-break flights is strong as air travel is coming back from the Pandemic.
The industry has been impacted by severe weather in the Southeast and multiple air traffic control delay programs.

More than 37,000 customers have been affected by the weekend flight cancellation by Alaska Airlines. The airline did not say why it canceled flights, but it did say that it was in contract negotiations with its pilots. Off-duty pilots picketed in several U.S. cities. They have not had a new contract in three years.
The pilots union said in a Friday press release that Alaska Airlines failed to properly plan for increased travel demand and take steps to ensure it attracted and retained pilots.
People on social media complained about long hold times and lines.
