The gaps in former President Donald Trump's phone logs coincide with the events of January 6.
The House January 6 committee will investigate a possible cover-up after the White House call logs showed a seven hour and 37 minute gap.
The Maryland Democrat, who is also a member of the January 6 committee, said that it was unusual for everything to go dark for seven hours.
The committee has been able to piece together the phone calls that the former president made, according to Raskin.
He said that there was no comprehensive, fine-grained portrait of what was going on during that time.

According to recent reports from CNN, Trump frequently moved calls from the White Hosue's in-house phone system to his cellphone. Jake Lahut of Insider reported that it may explain why calls from witnesses didn't show up on the phone log.
On Sunday, Raskin said that Trump continues to look for a way to invalidate the election that he considers fraudulent.
The country needs to fortify democratic institutions and processes against future insurrections and coups and attempts to overthrow our elections.
The committee is looking for links between the inside political coup and the violent insurrection.
There was a violent insurrection, but then there was an attempt at an inside coup, which the political scientists call a self-coup, not a coup against a president.
Public hearings on the committee's findings should be in May.
