Zelenskyy accuses Putin of 'genocide' in Ukraine, says Russia wants the 'elimination of the whole nation and the people'

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said on Sunday that Russia wants to eliminate Ukrainians.

Zelenskyy said that this is genocide. We have over 100 nationalities, we are the citizens of Ukraine. This is about the destruction of all the nationalities.

The Ukrainian president made comments to Margaret Brennan during an interview on CBS News.

Zelenskyy said that they are the citizens of Ukraine and they don't want to be subdued to the policies of the Russian Federation.

There are nearly 300 people buried in mass graves outside the capital of Kyiv. The mayor said the streets were covered in corpses.
