There are no plans for the Seattle Seahawks to trade DK Metcalf.
Other league executives are not sure.
Following the trade of Russell Wilson to the Denver Broncos despite the team's public declaration that he's not on the block, the name of Metcalf is still being talked about in league circles.
This is a name that is getting a lot of attention. Fowler said on SportsCenter that there was no guarantee that anything would happen. Seattle has made it clear that they have no intention of trading him. I keep talking to executives that maybe they would either be willing to move on at the right price or that he would welcome a change. It is hard to figure out what is happening here. He has one year left on his contract. He would need a new contract as part of the trade. That is the tricky part.
