We've been having a wonderful time so far! Lots of food, lots of wine, and absolutely gorgeous scenery!

My travel wardrobe has worked out well so far. Mornings have been quite chilly, and both the scarf and lightweight down jacket have been earning their keep!

The scarf also came in handy for a tasting in the cool barrel room at Dry Creek Vineyard. (I'll be sharing our favorite wineries, restaurants, and accommodations in a special Wine Country Guide for email subscribers. If you haven't already subscribed, just use the form at the bottom of this post.)
If you're planning to do winery tours and tastings, here are a few wardrobe suggestions:

Putting the jacket and scarf to good use again, this time for a chilly morning walk in Armstrong Redwoods State Natural Reserve. Shirt is this one.

We've moved over to Napa Valley side now for a couple more days. We've lucked out so far, and haven't been impacted by power outages. It's very hot, dry, and windy though, so I definitely understand the danger and the need for caution.
I'll share some Out To Dinner outfits an an upcoming post.
Updated to add: I'm seeing there's now a major fire burning a few miles north of where we were staying earlier in the week. We're currently safe and some distance from it, but my thoughts go out to those impacted and all of the courageous first responders.Affiliate links in posts may generate commissions for unefemme.net.
