The actress, who played George Costanza's mother on the NBC sitcom, died of natural causes in Palm Desert, California. She was just two days away from her birthday.

Her first recurring role was on the CBS sitcom Good Advice, which starred Treat Williams andShelley Long. It was the gratingness of the show that made her famous.
Harris appeared on TV shows like Star Trek: Voyager and Living Single. She reprised her role as Mrs. Potato Head in the third and fourth installments of the franchise.
Harris had film credits that included Promoted, CBGB, Playing Mona Lisa, Dancing in September, What's Cooking?, Lost and Found, and The Odd Couple II.
Harris is survived by her children, three grandsons and a great-grandson.
