A new promo for the film shows the allies that Strange will have with him in the sequel. A good amount of attention is given to Elizabeth Olson's Scarlet Witch, who has gone into hiding after everything that happened at Westview during the events of WandaVision. She can turn down Steven's request to help if it means a chance at a reunion with her kids, Billy and Tommy. She looked determined when we saw her last.
There is more footage of Chiwetel Ejiofor's Mordo, last seen in the trailer at the Super Bowl, in this new promo. He will be turning Stephen over to someone for his various transgressions with the multiverse, as he is very much a stickler for the rules. Since Ejiofor is said to be playing a version of his character from the original film, there is a chance that one of them will become an ally of Stephen and his crew.
The promo ends with the announcement that tickets will go on sale this Wednesday, April 6. When he talked about this film, he may not have been blowing smoke, because how well the last MCU movie did at the box office, and how well Spider-Man: No Way Home did, is what matters most. You will have to wait later in the year for it to come to Disney+ if you don't feel safe going to the theater.
