Will Smith tried to clean up his Oscars moment, but it may not be enough for some studios who have projects planned with him.

At least a couple films of his that were supposed to be in the works are getting kicked to the back burner at both Sony and Netflix, with the former quietly pivoting away from firing up production on Fast and Loose.

Will may have other projects put on ice, including The Council and Bright 2, as well as other movies he has been attached to.

Sony has put production of his next Bad Boys sequel on hold indefinitely, after Will received 40 pages of the script recently, with the movie chugging along ahead of the Oscars.

There are other Sony-tied films of his that might see the same fate. He is heavily involved in making films now that he has a production company.

Movie watchers are eagerly waiting on Will's forthcoming Apple offering "Emancipation", which is due to be released this year. It is unclear what Apple will do with the release date they have yet to announce.

The movie has gotten a lot of buzz, and was expected to possibly earn Smith another Oscar, as he plays a runaway slave from a Louisiana plantation, portraying the man who posed for a photo in which he showed off his scars.

Will can still be nominated and attend future Oscars ceremonies if Apple releases the flick and it is as good as they say it is, but he cannot vote.
