In the first quarter of 2022, the company delivered over 300,000 vehicles, despite Musk's claims that it was an " exceptionally difficult quarter" due to global supply chain issues.
The Model 3 and Y made up 295,324 of these deliveries, while 14,724 were for the Model S and X. The company built a total of over 300,000 vehicles.

Outstanding work by Tesla team & key suppliers saved the day.
Last month, the factory in China was closed for two days due to a spike in COVID-19 cases, and again last week due to a city-wide lock down. Model 3s and Model Ys are produced at the largest plant.
The grand opening of its Austin, Texas Gigafactory on April 7th could help offset production issues caused by the opening of its first European factory in Berlin, Germany.
