Two players, including Bill Bradley, have won an NBA championship, an Olympic gold medal, and a EuroLeague title. During his 16-year career with the San Antonio Spurs, Ginobili was a two-time All-Star, two-time All-NBA selection and the 2008 Sixth Man of the Year. Argentina won the gold medal at the 2004 Olympics.

Whalen was named to the first team in 2008 and 2011. She leads the league in assists five times and ranks third all-time in the league. At Minnesota, where she is now the head coach, Whalen led the Golden Gophers to the Final Four in 2004, and was named an All-American three times.

West Virginia coach Bob Huggins has spent 39 seasons as a head coach. He has led his teams to two Final Fours, once at Cincinnati and once at West Virginia.

Evans worked more than 1,900 regular-season games, 170 playoff games and 35 NBA Finals games during his 28-year career before retiring in 2001.

In 1984 and 1985, Stanley was the coach of Old Dominion, which won an NCAA championship and back-to-backAIAW titles. She was the coach of the year in the WNBA in 2002.
