Paul George will not play in the LA Clippers game against the Milwaukee Brewers on Friday because he is resting his shooting elbow.
The Clippers will hold out four starters for the second game of a back-to-back after they lost 135-130 in overtime in Chicago. Reggie Jackson, Marcus Morris, and Nic Batum will join George on the sideline. Brandon Boston Jr. is also out.
George has played in two games since he returned to the court after tearing his elbow in December. George scored 34 points in a win over the Utah Jazz. George played 32 minutes and scored 22 points, but did not play in overtime because he reached his minutes limit, according to Ty Lue.
The Clippers are in eighth place in the West at 37-40 with five games remaining.
